Dr. Patricia Morris (Minton) brings over 20 years' experience as a University Lecturer and Modern Languages Educator/Teacher Trainer to her own Project via Greystones Educational Connections.  Following study, travel and teaching in France and Italy (including TEFL) I completed undergraduate studies in Birmingham U.K. and returned to Dublin to pursue a career in academia and undertake a Masters Degree at Dublin City University and later a PhD (2012) at Trinity College Dublin specialising in Modern Languages Education.  My research interests include learner and teacher awareness and engagement in language learning/teaching; learner motivation; learner training and strategy development; intercultural awareness; and developing learner autonomy in teaching and learning.  I am also interested in the importance of Study-Abroad as an integral component of undergraduate studies for students of all disciplines for the formative and learning opportunities to be gained through living in and experiencing a different culture.
